Product Introduction
1.Tungsten carbide rod are mostly applied for drill bits, end mills, and reamers with sub-micron grain grade YG10X, for non-ferrous precision cutting and wood cutting with grade YG6X, and for fiberglass reinforced plastics, titanium alloys, hardened steel with ultra-fine grain grade YG8X, etc.
2. The tungsten carbide rods we can manufacture and supply are varied in different sizes as well as tungsten carbide grades.
3. Following is a detailed description of one kind specification of tungsten carbide rod:

• Main function: Diameter:1.5 mm x 330mm
• Surface Condition: Sintered blank
• Chemical Composition: WC :88.5% + Co: 10% + Others: 1.5%
• Density: 14.2~14.6 g/cm3
• Hardness: HRA91.5 min.
• T.R.S.: 3200N/mm2 min.  

4. Tungsten carbide rods include rods with the shapes of round, rectangular and square, solid rods and rods with one or more straight or coolants. The grades are mostly fine and super fine grain with high performance.
5. Tungsten carbide rod applications include drill bits, end mills, and reamers. Custom diameters and length are also available in these grades as well as metric sizes. 














Application
KU10: recommended for PCB drilling and milling. Suitable for machining of magnesium alloy, glass fiber, wood, hard plastic, iron base alloy and etc.

ZU10: recommended for making all kinds of solid carbide drill bit milling cutter and reamer. Suitable for machining chilled cast iron, heat-resisting alloy steel, non-ferrous metals, magnesium alloy etc, 

ZU15: recommended for cutting of cast iron and aluminum alloy. Suitable for machining of cast iron, aluminum alloy etc, and also suitable alloy steel.

ZU20F: recommended for making of various specifications of the drill bit, end mill, screw tap, rotary file and so on, with excellent versatility. Suitable for machining of all kinds of carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, nickel and titanium alloy.

KU20: recommended for making of various specifications of the drill bit, end mill, screw tap, rotary file and so on, with excellent versatility. Suitable for machining of all kinds of carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, nickel and titanium alloy.

KU25: recommended for high speed milling, better usage after coating. Especially suitable for making various vertical milling cutter, reamer, drill bit and carving knife. Suitable for machining of nickel base alloy, titanium alloy, stainless steel, hardened steel, grey cast iron and other difficult -to-cut material.
KU30: suitable for punching of mould and tools
