Stacyc has added two new electric balance bikes to its lineup, the 18eDrive and the 20eDrive.
The Stacyc 18eDrive and the 20eDrive balance bikes are equipped with all-new 36-volt motors that have more low-end power and torque to tackle aggressive riding terrain or longer trips with the crew.
Three selectable power modes let kids gradually become comfortable with increasing speeds. Both bikes have hydraulic disc brakes, aluminum frames and nylon wheels with sealed bearings and pneumatic tires. Top speeds for the 18eDrive and 20eDrive are 18 and 20, respectively, and they are expected to be available in May 2022.
The 18eDrive ($2650) has a top speed of 18 mph. The 18eDrive weighs in at 31 pounds with the battery and is best suited for kids between 8-10 and up to 115 lbs.
The 20eDrive ($3100) has top speed of 20 mph. Just a few pounds heavier (33 pounds), the 20eDrive is ideal for ages 10-12, up to 115 lbs.
