The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open to the public now and will run until July 31. On August 1, you can expect all items to return to normal prices.

As Nordstrom's biggest sale of the year, the Anniversary Sale hosts thousands of deals across all categories of the site.

As a team of professional product reviewers and deal hunters, we've been scouring through the sale since the preview became available, but we've also been doing some shopping of our own.

To help you get an idea of what items to look at first, we rounded up some of the items the Insider Reviews team has either purchased during early access or has added to our personal wishlists. See what deals we're most excited about this year, below.

A collaboration we'll co-sign over and over, this slick anorak from L.L. Bean and Todd Snyder is made from organic cotton and recycled nylon canvas, with a front kangaroo pocket and contrast trim that's a nod to the '80s. We love that you can pack it up and go, making it the perfect travel jacket, whether you're heading for the trails or not. —Michael Nolledo, executive editor, Insider Reviews

AllSaints might be known for their footwear, but we've got our eye on these cheetah print swim trunks, which will look good on the beach or in the streets.  —Michael Nolledo, executive editor, Insider Reviews

Great Jones' Holy Sheet pan certainly costs more than standard aluminum pans, but its nonstick ceramic coating and deep cobalt blue colorway more than make up for spending a little more. These pans are for home cooks looking for a kitchen statement piece.  —Michael Nolledo, executive editor, Insider Reviews

Tommy John are hands-down the best underwear I've ever worn — and I've done a lot of testing. I recommend them at full price all the time, so when they're on sale, it's an even better value.  — Amir Ismael, senior reporter

Bonobos is one of my favorite brands to shop for chino pants. Even if you already have basic colors like black, tan, and blue, Bonobos always does a great job at coming out with fresh and fun colors like this Sea Spray Green.  — Amir Ismael, senior reporter

Shackets are the number one item to come back in style every fall. Instead of paying full price when the season gets here, I recommend grabbing this cool plaid shacket from Levi's on sale now.  — Amir Ismael, senior reporter

Timberland Premium 6-Inch Boots in the wheat colorway almost never go on sale. This particular pair features faux-shearling linings, gold logo accents, and extra laces. At $60 off, this is a great deal for a classic pair of boots. — Amir Ismael, senior reporter

I've been using this three-piece system for the past few weeks and it's transformed my hair from dry and frizzy to smooth and sleek. The results are noticeable after the first wash. I only wish I'd started using it sooner. —Ashley Phillips, style and beauty editor

When I dyed my hair blonde a year ago, the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector is what saved my over-processed and color-treated hair. After using the same products for decades, it was hard finding a hair routine that worked well with the changes my strands had undergone. Because one of the Olaplex bond treatment products was the one step I needed to nurse my hair back to health, I'm looking forward to grabbing the Olaplex Bond Maintenance Set and seeing what wonders the shampoo and conditioner work.  —Kayla Bickham, style and beauty fellow

After two years of wearing leggings nonstop, it's no surprise exercise dresses are taking off as the new athleisure staple. Outdoor Voices' is the original and rarely on sale. I'm planning to pick this one up in the fun pink shade. —Ashley Phillips, style and beauty editor

A leather jacket is a true investment piece you can wear for the next decade. Allsaints' Balfern moto jacket is a classic that's been on my wishlist for years and it's a total steal at the Anniversary Sale price. —Ashley Phillips, style and beauty editor

You can never have too many loungewear sets! This set breaks down to just a little over $20 per piece since it comes with pants, a tank, and a sweater — so I know I'm getting my money's worth. I plan to scoop this up and mix-and-match it at home and out of the house. —Sally Kaplan, executive editor, Insider Reviews

I'm going to a garden wedding in September in the South of France, and I bought a similar dress by this exact brand in a pink-ish-orange color for the occasion. But now I'm debating buying this one too because the color is so good! I will probably talk myself out it because I'm trying to only shop based on need, but there's a chance I might convince myself that I genuinely need this dress. —Sally Kaplan, executive editor, Insider Reviews
